Our Team

A Team Formed Through God’s Grace and Purpose

We are two people brought together by God's Divine action.

It all began when Bishop Gilmore invited Jacqueline Loh to the Diocese of Dodge City, Kansas, to pray for a priest suffering from severe mental/spiritual illness. Reluctantly, she met him on the July 1-4th holiday weekend in 2003 and prayed for him over those days.

Miraculously, he recovered over the next months and eventually was able to go back to serve in his priestly duties. At the same time, Jacqueline’s spiritual director was promoted to another position in San Francisco. Needing another director fast, she asked Bishop Gilmore if he would consider this role for her. It took him a long while to say ‘ yes ‘ because of his Bishop duties, and then it took even longer for her to receive his letter in the mail. (nail biting times.)

Thank you Father Michael Sweeney O.P. for bringing us together in 2003.
