In 2008, Jacqueline founded a Catholic healing retreat ministry called, “Grace that Reigns.” It's formation began in 2011 while she was in Dublin, Ireland, having been invited by Fr.Kevin Scallon to attend the Intercession for priests.
She is interested in the ordinary as well as extraordinary expressions of God’s immense and intimate love for us. She is also drawn to the connections that exist between psychology, faith, mysticism, and illness where she shares how God’s grace works through the charisms of healing, prophecy and discernment.
A trained planner landscape architect, interior designer, artist, and spiritual life coach, she also added masters level scripture/evangelization courses at the St. Augustine Institute in Denver, Co to round out her education. She uses all her experiences to help people to recognize their own unique God inspired path in life.
In 2019, she released a book called, “When Monday Comes.” - a down to earth guidebook to help people in retreat settings to understand the mystery of God’s Love through prayer, action and practical discernment.
RETREAT TOPICS TO PARISHES AND SMALL GROUPS:
1. Jacqueline Loh: Testimonial - Conversion – Faith Story
The beginning of her faith journey was described as a tug of war. Growing up in a strict Catholic household did not give her a real understanding of the fullness of God’s love. As a result, she was attracted to everything that the world had to offer.
What saved her was a powerful event of the presence of God in a white painted brick walled room in an old boy’s reformatory at the age of 14. Those few minutes changed her life and gave her a new understanding of God’s reality and indescribable love for her through the Holy Trinity. Suddenly, her Catholic faith, didn’t seem so “beige” anymore. God was real.
She continued to play tug of war with God all through her 20’s and 30’s, as he made himself real to her again and again. Eventually, she went to graduate school and worked as a successful Planner/landscape architect and interior designer. When she reached an important junction, God called her again, and asked,” Do you want to sacrifice radically, for the sake of a higher good?” Then he offered her the choice of a lifetime.
Join Jacqueline as she shares how God revealed himself to her. As you listen to her life story, you will be convinced that you are loved and that God sees you as his pearl of great price.
2. Renewing Your Sense of Wonder: God is Love
God sees each of us as unique and invaluable. God loves us and he shows us our worth through people, places, and things we encounter. Sometimes, it is difficult to feel worthy of love. When this happens, we can lose hope in a loving God.
If you miss this understanding, then you would have missed 2/3rds of your life's value. I want to help you identify and break down the obstacles that prevent you from seeing the wonder of you and the Wonder of God in your life. You are an unfolding story, a story as far from ' finished' and one with a host of interested bystanders.
Join Jacqueline as she begins with a story of Wonder and demystifies some old belefs about that we may have experienced from our formative years.
3. Discernment: Is there something that you’ve missed? Confidently Discern what God has in store for you.
Did you know that the average American person moves an average of 11.7 times in their lifetime? People are always looking for opportunity. Whether it be upsizing, downsizing, job relocation, changing neighbourhoods, getting married or retiring, these movements reflect our physical journey towards what we think the direction of our lives is supposed to be taking.
At the same time, our physical movements mirror our interior lives as we pose these questions. What am I doing in my life? Is this the right job for me, am I making the right decision? Am I wasting my time – what is my life’s purpose?
God wants to work with your talents, desires, and interests to find what is good in them and then elevate them to the next level according to our natures. Did you ever wonder what God is communicating to you and how to understand it clearly?
Jacqueline offers a different perspective on how to discern your journey by using your everyday senses to gather the clues to understand the movement of the spirit within the desires of your heart, and then integrate them into the will of God for your life.
4. Suffering, Grace and God’s Healing Touch. How do we navigate it?
Because we are humans, we will all suffer. But there is a great value to suffering in the life of a soul and to get there, each of us must be prepared and perfected to meet God.
People worry about suffering because it can cause struggle and pain and a heightened state of anxiety. But it can also draw us closer to God and to ourselves as we ask for God’s mercy and healing hand. Suffering and illness helps us to be grateful for what we have, to become more patient – to slow down and smell the roses. It forces us to become introspective and draw closer to God and trust in the prayer that our family and friends will pray for us.
In this talk, join Jacqueline and Bishop Gilmore as they share their thoughts about the anointing of the sick, the different ways that people receive healing, the differences between physical, mental and spiritual healing and the influence of the enemy in our healing story, and what reassuring prayers we can pray to make our journey of suffering easier.
Be ready to listen to testimonies of God’s healing touch in our world as you begin to understand human nature, the beauty of asking and receiving mercy, and the will of God in this time of your life,
5. Spread the Seed: Know when and how to share your extraordinary stories of faith.
If you are in awe and wonder at what God has done for you, how do you let others know of your experience? Learn how to tell your testimony or story of conversion.
One of the most important and exciting areas of your faith is the ability and opportunity to share your own story: especially if you experienced a spiritual conversion, or if God healed you miraculously. But in many cases, people find reasons for their own reluctance to share. However, stories have been passed down from generations to generations and the willingness to share promotes community, curiosity, thanksgiving, healing, and psychological well-being. Not to mention, it gives glory to our loving God.
Join Jacqueline as she shares testimonies from people whom she has ministered to. She will describe the spiritual effects of sharing their story and offer 3 ideas for your takeaway to prepare your own story.
At the close of this session, you will understand that sharing your faith testimony is much more exciting than you had expected, and that the benefits that arise from your sharing far outweighs the sounds of silence.
